What happens when you have a farm full of baby animals, families demonstrating traditional crafts, and talks on self-sufficiency and community? You have a Farm and Family Fair! Join us for farm festivities, a craft fair, food, music and some practical inspiration to get your own family economy up and running!
What to expect..
- Baby farm animals: lambs, goats, chicks, pigs, bunnies
- Farm animal demonstrations
- Traditional handmade crafts
- Plant sale / garden starts
- Special speakers on homesteading and the family economy
- Meet other families pursuing self-sufficiency and home-based economies
- Baked goods and coffee
- Children’s music
Scheduled Events (both days):
- 9:30 AM – Morning session starts
- 9:45 – Goat Milking Demonstration
- 10:00 – Animal Demonstrations
- 10:30 – Talks by Rory Groves & Jared Dodd
- 11:15 – Sawmilling Demonstration
- Noon – Children’s Music and Hymn Sing
- 12:30 PM – Afternoon session starts
- 12:45 – Sawmilling Demonstration

- 2:00 – Pie Contest Judging and Pie Social

Pie Contest & Pie Social (Afternoon Sessions Only)
In the spirit of an old-fashioned county fair, we’ll be holding a pie contest this year. To enter, bring your favorite pie to the judging table between 12:30 and 1PM. Winners will be announced at 2PM — Pie social to follow!
SUGGESTED DONATION: $10 per family
