Hattie said to me at bedtime, “Mom, when I get to heaven I’m going to get a big blanket and then go and find you so we can snuggle. I might not be able to find you because we might be on two different mountains, but then I’ll just ask Jesus, ‘do you know where my mom is?’ And he’ll bring me to you.”

“Um, kids? Who has been eating the insides of the dehydrated orange slices on our tree?” Hattie pipes up, “me. And they are not good.”

For Groves Family Christmas Elsie drew Ivar’s name. She knew exactly what to get him: a giant homemade chocolate chip cookie.

Stay cozy, folks!

The walk on our road this morning was a wonderland.😍

Big joy when mom brings out popsicles. (Because clearly we need more sugar this time of year! 😅) They’re working hard on a snow fort called Town Hall.
